Truth About…

Over the course of six weeks we will consider the joys associated with building your life based on truth and the pain that comes from false beliefs. We begin on Pentecost Sunday as we are reminded that Jesus promise to “pour out upon us His spirit of truth.” We will look at some myths that could easily make you miserable such as, “It doesn’t matter what you believe as long as you’re sincere.” Other myths we will address are things like: “God is unreasonable, unreliable, unconcerned, and unpleasable; if I ignore my pain, it will go away; change should be accomplished overnight; my stress is due to other people; and, worry will help us control the uncontrollable.”
