Romans Bible Study
February 23, 2026 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Last winter, many of you journeyed with Pastor Todd Mathison through the first eight chapters of Paul’s magnificent letter to the Romans—what Luther once called “the purest Gospel.” Together, we stood in awe before God’s grace, marveled at the freedom Christ gives, and discovered the Spirit-filled life Paul describes in “The Great Eight.”
This January, we pick up right where we left off. For eight Mondays—morning or evening—we will walk slowly, reverently, joyfully through Romans 9–16. These chapters are rich, textured, and deeply pastoral. They take us from the mysteries of God’s mercy to the call of Christian community…from the sovereignty of God’s saving plan to the everyday expressions of love that mark Christ’s people.
Each week you’ll receive take-home notes and we’ll engage in verse-by-verse expository teaching—slow enough to understand, deep enough to transform, and always centered on Christ.
If you didn’t attend last year, you are still warmly invited. Romans 9–16 stands beautifully on its own. SIGN UP at the Welcome Desk or click the link below.
