Leafman\, PhD\, EMT\, Executive Director with Corbin’s Legacy.Corbin’s Legacy helps children that are classified as “McKinney-Vento”\,  which means that they are officially homeless and living well below the poverty line. They support 25+ children and families from a local Title 1 Elementary School who live at 90% below the National Poverty line. They receive a backpack of food every weekend for the entire academic year. Each Thursday\, Corbin’s Legacy buys\, packs and delivers over 300 backpacks of food\, each with seven meals\, to children who are homeless. For more information about Corbin’s Legacy visit corbinslegacy.org.Tickets are available for purchase in the lobby for $10.

DESCRIPTION:INTERFAITH HOMELESS EMERGENCY LODGING PROGRAM (I-HELP)\n\n\n\nI-HELP is a unique\, cost effective program that uses what churches have in abundance (space\, volunteers\, the desire to help the stranger) to provide overnight emergency shelter to those experiencing homelessness and case management to help them move from crisis to stability. I-HELP currently operates in Mesa\, Surprise\, and the Southwest Valley\, including Avondale and Goodyear. \n\n\n\n\n\nI-HELP Program at Victory is for homeless women without children in the Mesa area. \n\n\n\n\nNight shelter\n\n\n\nCold evening beverages\, morning coffee and lots of bottled water\n\n\n\nHealthy & hearty sack lunch provided for the next day\n\n\n\nCots\, air mattresses & linens for sleeping\n\n\n\nShowers with soap\, shampoo\, lotion and towels provided\n\n\n\n\nInterested in volunteering?
