DESCRIPTION:Call to Pray for Our NationSpecial Prayer MeetingThursday\, October 31 @ 10am in the Chapel\n\n\n\n2 Chronicles 7:14 says\, “If my people\, who are called by my name\, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways\, then I will hear from heaven\, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” \n\n\n\nIt is critical that we pray for our Nation as we draw closer to the upcoming National and local elections. There is an amazing power in united prayer. During this time we encourage you to pray with others whenever possible. The power of prayer can overcome any obstacle and\, indeed\, do great things! \n\n\n\nOften the Lord calls His people to gather for prayer\, asking us to “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7). Thursday\, October 31 at 10:00am will be just such a time as we gather for a special prayer meeting. God’s word tells us that we are to devote ourselves to prayer (Colossians 4:2) so please plan to join us as we gather to pray for our nation and the upcoming national and local elections. \n\n\n\nWe are providing a Daily Prayer Guide that begins October 20 thru November 5\, Election Day. This guide is designed to help us come together in prayer during this important time for our nation. Together\, let’s lift our hearts and minds to God as we trust in His guidance during this election season.

What an astounding lifestyle!  \n\n\n\nIn the New Testament\, this intimacy with God continued with Jesus who told us\, “My sheep hear My voice\, I know them\, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27) What about today\, does God still talk to us the way He did in the past? What about you? Do you hear God’s voice in your prayer life or encounter Him in your dreams?  \n\n\n\nIf you have ever wondered what it sounds like to hear from Heaven and you desire such intimacy with God then you are invited to join Pastor Susan for a new 5-week Bible study class called\, “Four Keys to Hearing God’s Voice”. The study is based on the book with the same name authored by Dr. Mark Virkler.  \n\n\n\nIn this class\, Pastor Susan will help participants explore Biblically based powerful ways designed to enrich our prayer lives by helping us hear God’s voice and recognize how He is speaking to us in our everyday life.

DESCRIPTION:Victory Lutheran Church is proud to present an educational seminar series on Dementia and Alzheimer’s. If you or a loved one is suffering from Dementia or Alzheimer’s\, and you have wondered about their behavior or how to care for them then we invite you to attend these powerful seminars. Each session is a 90-minute seminar where participants will learn more about the causes of the disease\, how it progresses\, and best practices on ways to care for our loved ones as the disease progresses. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in finding out more about Dementia or Alzheimer’s\, please plan to join us for the following seminars. Adult day care is available for anyone you bring that will be needing an activity while you attend the seminar. Please REGISTER so that we may plan appropriately for those who will attend.
