DESCRIPTION:Launching New  \n\n\n\nCONTEMPORARY WORSHIP SERVICE @ 11:00AMBeginning April 7th\, Victory Lutheran will introduce a Contemporary Worship Service at 11:00am on Sunday mornings. Following Easter\, the 11:00am service will shift from traditional to contemporary music\, led by a praise team under the guidance of Jackie Jewel. \n\n\n\nThis new service has been a long-requested and carefully planned endeavor. While contemporary worship has been a part of Victory for over twenty years\, it hasn’t been present at the Mesa campus for quite some time. \n\n\n\nIt’s important to note that traditional worship remains the cornerstone of Victory’s worship experience. This is our primary focus. We’re not aiming to “blend” traditional and contemporary styles. Our Saturday service at 4:00pm and Sunday services at 8:00am and 9:30am will continue to uphold traditional styles with excellence. The 11:00am Sunday service will adopt a contemporary style\, also delivered with excellence.

DESCRIPTION:Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing a difficult time in life\, such as grief\, divorce\, job loss\, chronic or terminal illness\, or relocation. \n\n\n\nStephen Ministers are trained by their congregation’s Stephen Leaders using resources from Stephen Ministries St. Louis. The training they receive in the congregation equips them to provide high-quality care to people who are hurting. \n\n\n\nCare receivers are individuals in the congregation or community who are going through a crisis or life difficulty. Potential care receivers first meet with a pastor or Stephen Leader\, who assesses their needs for care and matches them with a Stephen Minister.  \n\n\n\nAfter being matched with a person experiencing a life crisis\, the Stephen Minister meets with that person on a weekly basis for about an hour to listen\, care\, encourage\, and provide emotional and spiritual support. SUMMARY:Dementia/Alzheimer Care Partner Seminar
DESCRIPTION:As you may know\, the neurological condition known as Dementia that affects the brain\, causing loss of memory\, thinking\, and reasoning has life altering effects of many individuals and families. Victory Lutheran Church is offering a powerful three-part series on Dementia Education. Session One\, January 13\, 2026\, deals with brain changes that happen during the dementia journey. We will learn how dementia affects each area of the brain and how we\, as caregivers\, can work with the disease instead of against it. Session Two\, February 10\, 2026\, deals with how we can learn to focus on what our loved ones can do and use that knowledge to make our caregiving journey easier and more fulfilling for us and our loved ones. Session Three\, March 10\, 2026\, teaches us to master three techniques that will make our days go by faster and will help keep our loved one happy and entertained. Each session also includes a question-and-answer section at the end of each seminar\, and adult day care is provided should anyone have the need for it. For more information about this seminar series\, and to let us know how many from your congregation may be attending\, please contact Lynda Buechner at lyndabuechner@gmail.com. \n\n\n\nAdult day care is available for anyone you bring that will be needing an activity while you attend the seminar. Please click below to SIGN UP or at the Welcome Desk so that we may plan appropriately for those who will attend. \n\n\n\nCLICK HERE FOR FLYER

We all have spiritual gifts. Spiritual Gifts are God’s Provision for the Holy Spirit to minister to His people through His people (that’s us!)We are the ONLY VESSELS the Holy Spirit uses to accomplish His work here on earth.1 Corinthians 12:4“There are different kinds of gifts\, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service\,but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working\, but in all of them and in everyone it isthe same God at work.”1 Corinthians 12:21“The eye cannot say to the hand\, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet\, “I don’t need you!” We are God’s creation. He made each of us with a purpose. He gave each of us a unique combination of gifts\, abilities and calling. Though we are all different\, we have one thing in common. Each one of us was created to worship! God has a plan for you. Do not be ignorant of your gifts! Our gifts are meant to build up the Body of Christ\, the Church. This program aims to provide a strong Christian foundation for youth\, emphasizing the sacraments\, commandments\, and foundational Christian beliefs. GriefShare is a special 13-week seminar and support group designed to help you rebuild your life after losing a loved one. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and desire to help you through the difficult days ahead. We know it hurts and we want to help. Some of the topics covered include: \n\n\n\n\nIs This Normal? • Why Am I Stuck?\n\n\n\nGrief and Relationships • Guilt & Anger\n\n\n\nWhy has this Happened? • And What Do I Live for Now?\n\n\n\nThe Challenges of Grief • Complicating FactorsVideo presentation and discussion. While it’s ideal for members to attend all 13 sessions\, each weekly session is designed to be “open\,” meaning a person can begin attending at any time.
