Orchard: Africa - Mission Trip
South Africa
North West Mission Trip
Victory Lutheran’s longstanding partnership with Orchard has positively impacted many families in South Africa. Victory played a pivotal role in the construction and launch of the new Orchard Impact Center in the North West. Each Impact Center typically serves 10 local villages, providing a safe space for villagers to learn essential skills in small-scale agriculture, early childhood education, small business development, orphan care, church strengthening, programs for women, young parent workshops, and future leaders development. It also serves as a networking and gathering place for pastors
Now, our team has the privilege to visit and work on a mission trip to this Impact Center. While the conditions in these rural villages may initially be shocking, walking through them and witnessing the abundance of smiles, laughter, and strong family bonds will reveal a deep sense of community. This experience may change how you see the image of God in others. Follow us from Sept 5 – 16 through our daily reports.
