Lewis once wrote that for Christians, “there are better things ahead than any we leave behind.” This sentiment beautifully captures the essence of our latest Bible study series at Victory Lutheran Church, where we explore what the Bible, our only truly reliable source, reveals about heaven and hell.
In the Heaven and Hell series we’ve delved deep into the Scriptures to unpack these complex issues, and we invite you to join us on this transformative journey. Due to the success of the series and interest on the topic, we decided to make the live recordings available and we are excited to share them with you.

What's Inside?
Our Bible study consists of five engaging video sessions, each focusing on different aspects of heaven and hell as described in the Scriptures. We will look at what we can know about what lies ahead—beyond death. While the Bible may not tell us as much as we’d like about the life to come, it certainly tells us much more than we think!
We break down old stereotypes of heaven (like sitting on clouds and strumming harps) and consider both the terrible fate from which Jesus has graciously saved us and the amazing future that God has planned and promised for us. Additionally, we examine some common questions that often arise when Christians talk about heaven—from “What will we do with all that time?” to “Will my pets be with me?” and any other questions you might have.
