As Christians, we have the awesome opportunity to serve our holy God in so many ways! He gives each of us unique gifts and calls us to use them to bless others. 1 Peter 4:10 says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”

At Victory, you can serve in quite a variety of ways f rom greeting people at the main doors, ushering, preparing and serving communion, singing in the choir, playing in the bell choir, reading the scripture during the services, lighting the candles for worship services, visiting shut-ins, serving soup during at Lenten suppers, participating in the weekly prayer meeting, leading Bible studies, serving on the Church Council or Foundation, and even building storage shelves! All acts of service serve the Lord and His Church.

Serving others is not only beneficial for the soul but also brings joy and fulfillment. Yes, Victory Forward is also about getting involved, serving, growing spiritually and in community. Worship Style

At Victory Lutheran Church, our worship style is rooted in the traditional Lutheran experience, featuring a variety of meaningful elements that create a memorable atmosphere for our congregation.

Music

Our services showcase classic hymns accompanied by organ and/or piano, evoking a sense of history and continuity within our faith. We also feature guest artists and musicians such as singers, violinists, cellists, oboists, flutists, brass players and much more taking the worship experience to the next level. We have the privilege to have our choir with us on every Sunday from Fall to Spring and the bell choir in most of the services.

Creeds

We follow a structured liturgical format, incorporating elements such as the Invocation, Confession, Absolution, Scripture readings, Sermon, Creed, and Prayers of the People. This rhythm fosters familiarity and unity among our congregation.

Sermons

Our sermons are grounded in Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions, providing spiritual nourishment and guidance for our daily lives. Our pastoral team is committed to delivering engaging and thought-provoking messages.

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer, and our services include moments of both communal and individual prayer. We also host a monthly Prayer and Praise Worship in our Chapel for deeper connection with God and fellow believers.

Fellowship

Our worship experience extends beyond the Sanctuary as we cultivate a strong sense of community and spiritual relationships. We encourage our congregation to participate in various ministries, Bible studies, and small groups to deepen connections with one another and grow in faith together.
