On Mother’s Day, we thank God for the fierce, tender love of mothers—but even that love points beyond itself to something greater still. In the darkest night, when chains, fear, and hopelessness seem to have the final word, Jesus breaks in with saving mercy. No life is too far gone, no night too dark, and no heart beyond His reach. Even the strongest human love can only echo the greater love of God, who does not forget His children and never lets them go.
