Pastor Denton has been serving Victory Lutheran Church since 2024, bringing with him a unique journey to ministry. Born and raised in North Carolina, he spent his early years pursuing a career in NASCAR before answering God’s call to pastoral ministry. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion and Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary and a Master of Divinity from Sioux Falls Seminary, and has served congregations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Minnesota, and Colorado. Denton is passionate about helping people grow in their faith and experience the grace of Jesus Christ in everyday life. He is the proud father of three adult children and grandfather of one. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, watching racing, and cheering on the Carolina Panthers and Duke Blue Devils.
