Dr. Kristin Holton Prouty has been at Victory as Director of Worship & Music since 2013. While her degrees are in organ performance, she has been involved in church music since a young age due to her father being a pastor. She began piano at the age of 6 after years of asking her parents for lessons. She entered college on a music scholarship, where she chose organ as her primary instrument. She sang in multiple choirs, played percussion in orchestra, and accompanied for soloists and choirs throughout her college years. Her organ career has included studying in Austria, as well as performing and competing throughout Europe, Mexico and Egypt. She completed her doctorate with Kimberly Marshall at Arizona State University. Working with the pastors and musicians at Victory to create a meaningful worship experience in a rewarding vocation. In her free time she is mom to three energetic children.
