Huge thanks to the travel crew who got us all to the terminal: Dean Senne (bus driver extraordinaire), Jeff Bennett & Mike Menke who both drove their own Riggs filled with our baggage, & Renee Bennett who coordinated and led the entire prep & logistics for the team. We truly are one body, many members.

A special prayer sent by Joanne Lein this morning from Lectio 365:
“Every Christian is a living, breathing, walking, talking prayer room. Because I follow Jesus, I am a Temple filled with the presence of God (1 Cor 6:19), a flesh and blood prayer room. And I carry God’s presence, by His Spirit, wherever I go (Acts 1:8) — through the airport, on the plane, to the people in South Africa!!!”

After 20 hours of travel time from Phoenix to Atlanta and then to Johannesburg we checked into the airport City Lodge Hotel around 9:30pm. We were met with the challenge of cold showers and some had no water at all. But as Karen said, “Well . . .  we have to adapt and adjust.” And that’s what we did!
