At Mount Sinai, God revealed His majesty in thunder and fire, calling His people into covenant relationship with Him. Moses served as mediator, but God’s desire was not to remain distant on the mountain—He wanted to dwell with His people and be known by them. Through Jesus, our greater Mediator, we have open access to the living God, who still invites us to meet Him in His Word and presence today.
