As the Israelite people are led into the long-awaited promised land, they are led by Joshua. The only thing standing in their way was the flooded Jordan River. Just as Moses’ faith in God split the Red Sea, Joshua’s faith would do it again, but faith calls for action for which the reason isn’t apparent. The big problem was that they would have to get their feet wet first. The first steps of trust would allow them to see the miracle. What if God is waiting for us to step out in faith before we see Him work in our lives?
