We see Isaiah's awe-filled vision of God's holiness and Peter's transformative encounter with Jesus, as recorded in Isaiah 6 and Luke 5. Both men, confronted with the divine, recognize their own unworthiness yet are cleansed and commissioned by God to carry forth His message of salvation. We, too, are called to embrace this God’s invitation and respond with hearts willing to say, "Here I am, Lord, send me."
