As Lent begins, we follow Jesus into the collision between the kingdoms of this world and the Kingdom of God—and in Bethany we see that clash up close as Jesus delays, grief deepens, and death seems to win. Yet when Jesus stands at the tomb and calls Lazarus by name, the Creator who gives breath to every living thing speaks life into what is hopeless, revealing a power far greater than fear, authority, or the grave. This week is an invitation to bring your own sorrow, questions, and waiting to Him, and to trust that the One who will obey His way to the cross is also the Lord who can raise the dead and renew life again.
